OUR ROOTS

Born in Liverpool, Made for Flavour

Our journey began in a tiny Welsh apartment where we began making our own dips instead of buying them all the time. This then grew to a Liverpool kitchen, driven by a simple belief: dips should be more than just houmous! We started experimenting with local seasonal veg, roasting them slowly in batches to coax out sweetness and depth you'll never find in a supermarket tub.

We're strictly anti-chemical. No weird fillers, no artificial preservatives. Just pure, dip goodness. We blend and blitz every batch to ensure the perfect texture for each dip, balancing health with bold, uncompromising flavours that celebrate the best of British produce with spices from across the world.

At The Big Dipper, sustainability isn't a buzzword; it's how we choose to work. We reduce waste and support our local community. We believe in food that's kind to your body and the planet, all while packing a proper punch of flavour.

Industrial Processing

Supermarket dips are often quick, cold-pressed and packed with synthetic preservatives to last months on a shelf. The result? A shoddy texture that loses the soul of the ingredients.

The Art of the Slow Roast

Crafting a truly exceptional dip takes more than a blender. We small-batch, slow-roast and hand-blend every single pot right here in Liverpool, ensuring the vibrant, seasonal vegetables reach their full flavour potential without a single added chemical in sight.

Small Batch Magic

We slowly cook our vegetables to caramelise their natural sugars, then hand-blend in small batches. This artisanal process keeps the texture smooth and the flavour pure, deep and honest.

Our Sincere Values

Flavour First
Naturally Preserved
Sustainability First

We don't settle for bland. Our dips are crafted by chefs slow roasting seasonal veg to ensure every mouthful is packed with intense, natural flavour.

No chemicals, no shortcuts. Just simple, honest ingredients. We use traditional preservation methods to keep our dips as healthy and delicious. None of the bad fluff only the good stuff!

Proudly rooted in Liverpool, we support local growers and use eco-friendly practices. Good for the community, great for the planet.
